Philadelphia University Design Workshop Course Wins Awards

Two projects produced by the Philadelphia University Design Workshop (PUDW) course have won Awards of Excellence from the 2014 University and College Designers Association 44th Annual Design Competition. This national competition was juried by industry professionals, and the judges evaluated over 1,000 entries; selecting just 179 to receive awards (approx. 18% of work submitted). Selected work will appear in the UCDA Design Show at the Annual UCDA Design Conference in September, 2014 at Long Beach, CA.


DiSanto and Mentoring

Visiting Assistant Professor Rose DiSanto spent four days in Denver, Colorado attending the AIGA Leadership Retreat representing the AIGA Philadelphia chapter. Rose was one of four participants who sat on a panel to present mentorship programs across the country. Also represented were AIGA DC, AIGA Colorado and AIGA Orlando. Rose is founder and director of the AIGA Philadelphia Mentorship Program.
