School of Business Teaches High School Students About Careers in Accounting

Philadelphia University’s School of Business Administration (SBA) welcomed nearly 200 102607story_cpa.jpghigh school students, teachers and guidance counselors from the Philadelphia region to learn more about careers in accounting in The Tuttleman Center Oct. 26.

Organized by SBA, the Office of Admissions and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), the program featured talks by SBA faculty—including keynote speaker Assistant Professor of Accounting, James Solano, CPA (pictured above)—accounting majors and PICPA representatives and explained modern-day applications of and careers in accounting.
