Philadelphia University welcomes two new staff members—Tanya Carbaugh, human resources generalist, and John Rebstock, resource development coordinator—to campus.
Ms. Carbaugh comes to the University’s Human Resources Office with several years experience performing human resources duties in both corporate and non-profit settings. Previously, she served in various human resources administrator roles for Philadelphia-based healthcare corporations and academic institutions.
In the human resources generalist position, Ms. Carbaugh will perform professional-level human resources tasks, spanning the areas of training and development, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and more.
Ms. Carbaugh earned her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her M.B.A. in Human Resources Management from Baker College in Flint, Mich.
As resource development coordinator in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, John Rebstock will support the effective solicitation of major gifts through individual prospect research and the development of donor profiles.
Prior to joining the University, Mr. Rebstock conducted donor and grant research and development duties for a variety of non-profit organizations, including the Ecological Society of America and the Anti-Defamation League, among others.
Mr. Rebstock earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in Political Management from George Washington University.
