Eastern Pennsylvania Working Together Conference held at Philadelphia University

Ravenhill Dining Hall was the location for 240 CPA’s and attorneys who attended the annual Eastern Pennsylvania Working Together Conference on Wednesday, May 21.

This was the fourth year that Philadelphia University’s Graduate Business Programs hosted the all-day event and opportunity for tax professionals to earn continuing professional education credits.  The panels included tax practitioners along with IRS officials and members of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.  There are Working Together programs in several regions throughout the U.S., all with the mission to promote a positive and ongoing relationship between tax practitioners and the two taxing agencies: the IRS and the state Departments of Revenue.

Philadelphia University’s Accounting and Tax professor, Dr. Andy Lafond and MarySheila E. McDonald, Assistant Dean for Graduate Business programs, are members of the Working Together Committee.
