James Solano, associate professor of accounting and a sports agent, talked about the Phillies’ World Series win and its impact on the team’s finances and payroll in the Oct. 31 Philadelphia Inquirer.  He estimated, for instance, that Ryan Howard could increase his $10 million salary to up to $14 million because of the championship.
