The PhilaU Accounting Society will host its annual Accounting Forum on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Kanbar Campus Center Performance Space.
The forum brings PhilaU faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends together to discuss various aspects of the profession and opportunities for Accounting graduates and students.
Networking will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the event starting at 6 p.m.
This year’s forum will feature three industry speakers. John Dugan, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, will be discussing the culture at a Big Four firm, as well as qualities and characteristics which, as a partner, he looks for in candidates seeking positions in the firm.
Michael Dillon, a Senior Audit Manager at SMART and PhilaU alumnus, will be discussing his 25 years of experience in accounting and finance in both the public and private sector.
Jay Greenfield, Jiffy Lube of Indiana CEO and PhilaU alumnus, will discuss his career path and how an accounting degree has helped him reach his career goals.
The University’s Accounting Society will celebrate 35 years as an organization on campus at the forum.
