Clara Henry and Fashion Design students talk about Michelle Obama’s inaugural style on 6ABC

Fashion Design Program Director Clara Henry talked about Michelle Obama’s inaugural fashions and the role of the first lady as a trend-setter on 6ABC news at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 21.  She said Obama shows that women don’t have to spend a lot to have style and she’s not afraid to experiment.  “She mixes mid-range mass merchandized clothing with high-end designer clothing,” Henry noted.  Design student Justine Frederick also weighed in on the first lady’s inaugural gown.
