Natalie W. Nixon talks about retail marketing and the Obamas in the Philadelphia Inquirer

Natalie Weathers Nixon, associate professor of Fashion Industry Management, says retailers need to be cautious about marketing fashions worn by members of the Obama family, the Jan. 28 Philadelphia Inquirer reports.  “The fashion world has to be particularly sensitive on how to use a relationship without exploiting it,” Nixon said.  “The Obamas are more than just well-known people who like a certain brand.”
