Private Screening of PhilaU Alumnus and Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll’s Film ‘Eleven Minutes’ on Campus Thursday

Philadelphia University, here! Networks and Regent Releasing invite you to a private screening of the new movie “Eleven Minutes” followed by a Q&A with alumnus and Project Runway winner Jay McCarroll.

The private screening will be held Thursday, Feb. 26 in The Tuttleman Auditorium at 7 p.m.  The screening is free and no tickets are needed. Seating is limited to auditorium capacity.

It’s been a while since the sharp-witted McCarroll was dubbed “the next great American designer” on season one of reality TV’s “Project Runway” and he’s anxious to finally show his first line of clothing.

The feature documentary “Eleven Minutes” chronicles McCarroll’s year-long journey preparing his first independent runway show for New York’s Fashion Week in Bryant Park and the subsequent selling of his line to stores.

The result is an in-depth, painfully raw and humorous exploration of the creative process and the constant balancing of commerce with art, fame with talent and reality TV with actual reality. The film is rated R for language.

The film opens at the Landmark Ritz at the Bourse on Friday, March 6. The Ritz is located at 400 Ranstead Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
