PhilaU Launches East Asia Business Center Web Page

Philadelphia University’s School of Business Administration East Asia Business Center has launched a new web page,

The East Asia Business Center establishes the University as a resource for small- and medium-sized businesses, trade professionals, faculty and students seeking to understand and advance partnerships between the United States and Asia.

The Center is a resource for information and communication, connecting select businesses with appropriate contacts and networks. It provides information on East Asia for the University’s business and liberal arts curriculum; sponsors community presentations in consultation with regional business professionals; and informs undergraduate, graduate and adult learners. The Center also fosters networking opportunities between businesses and PhilaU students.

“This web page will further the initiatives of the East Asia Business Center and establish our online community network,” said Susan Christofferson, Ph.D., director of the Center and associate professor of Economics. “The School of Business Administration is committed to connecting our students with the global business community, and our focus is Asia.”

The East Asia Business Center hosts symposia; webinars; industry-specific breakfasts; country-specific, trade-travel opportunities; disseminates information and offers training opportunities.
