Natalie Nixon talks to CNN about vanity sizing

Natalie Nixon, associate professor of fashion industry management, talked about retailers’ use of vanity sizing to make consumers feel better about their sizes in a July 10 CNN story.   “You may actually be a size 14 and, according to whatever particular store you’re in, you come out a size 10,” Nixon told CNN.  “It’s definitely to make the consumer feel good.”
