Professor Nello Gaspardo of Reutlingen University in Germany recently finished teaching a two-week, accelerated MBA course in Management Communications and Negotiation to One-Year MBA students.
This highly interactive class was taught in an intensive format over the last two weeks. One-Year MBA students were put into business teams who had to negotiate on a variety of hypothetical cases such as exporting American chocolate to China, offering blood glucose meters to India and a holistic concept for furniture and carpeting for a new hotel in Dubai.
“We are pleased to host Professor Gaspardo each summer to share his expertise with our MBA students,” said MarySheila McDonald, assistant dean of Graduate Business Programs. “His unique teaching style offers our students a chance to collaborate on potential real-world business challenges.”
Gaspardo, who teaches MBA courses on our campus each August, is an expert in presentation techniques, rhetoric, international negotiations and leadership. Students especially appreciate the highly innovative nature of his classes.
