The #1 East-seeded PhilaU women’s rowing team will compete in the NCAA Divison II Rowing Championships in Gold River, Calif., May 28 to 30.
The Philadelphia University women’s four and eight teams will compete against Florida Institute of Technology, Seattle Pacific University and Western Washington University in the championships, which will be held at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma.
Members of the women’s rowing team include graduate student Lindsey Catov; seniors Maureen Agnew, Magdalena Dzierzanowski, Mara Dondero, Maria McDevitt, Lindsay Spiers, Carolyn Steinberg and Briana Zelinski; juniors Caitlin Connors, Kara Knox and Renee Rozaieski; sophomores Megan Gallagher, Lauren Greenwood, Leah Nixon and Casey Watrous; freshmen Allison Cook, Lauren Fox, Tegan Halberg, Jessika Kachnic and Chelsea Overgaard.
