Jeff Ashley, associate professor of chemistry, discussed his new study on chemical PCBs in popular fish oil capsules on NBC10 at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12.  Concentrations were low but still a concern, he said, and consumers should look for capsules from smaller fish, such as sardines, which don’t accumulate as many PCBs.
