The PhilaU room reservation system is now available online at www.PhilaU.edu/Reservations – making the room reservation process more user friendly and efficient.
The system will allow the campus community to submit a room reservation request and receive approval for the request all online. The Office of Student Activities will review all requests prior to approval, and will approve reservation requests on a first-come-first-served basis.
The new, paperless system features include:
- flexibility and convenience of requesting space online
- ability to see room availability up front
- email confirmations updating them on the status of requests
“We are excited to offer this online feature to the campus community,” said Tim Butler, assistant dean of students and director of the campus center and student activities. “The new room reservation system is more user friendly and enhances the overall process.”
Users will have one-stop shopping for reservation requests, and relevant policies and procedures. Direct connection to other needed resources, such as OIR, Dining Services and Physical Plant, is provided.
Please note: the room reservation system is not utilized to schedule classes. That process is still handled through our Registrar’s Office. Faculty who are looking for computer labs, change-of-room requests for their sections or room requests for review sessions, please contact Joanna Vacchiano at email@example.com.
Tutorial sessions will be open to the campus community Thursday, Feb. 3 and Thursday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. and Noon in the Kanbar Campus Center, Room 306.
Printable tutorials will be available on the reservations homepage as well as the Ad Astra portal.
