The PhilaU Residences at the Falls Center Opens this Week as Newest PhilaU Housing Facility

All of the apartments at The Residences at Falls Center are fully furnished with contemporary kitchens.

Students began moving into the Philadelphia University Residences at Falls Center this week, officially opening the facility as PhilaU’s newest housing option. Located less than a mile away from campus at 3300 Henry Avenue, the newly renovated, multi-purpose site houses nearly 320 students.

The residences feature beautiful, new open-concept apartments with living rooms and private bathrooms. Each apartment is fully furnished and contains a contemporary kitchen, including a dishwasher, and free laundry facilities on site. The apartments have wireless internet and are connected to space for studio work, a social lounge and a convenience store.

The facility also features an auditorium for curricular and co-curricular programs, access to on-site Gatehouse café and coffeehouse, 24-7 campus facility support and shuttle service to Main Campus.

The Falls Center shuttle service runs every day from 7:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. The first shuttle leaves the Falls Center at 7:15 a.m. and subsequent shuttles arrive at :15 and :45 minutes after the hour, every hour until 10 p.m.

The shuttle makes stops on Main Campus at the Downs Hall parking lot and the Ram Statue. Students who need transportation after 10 p.m. to campus from the Falls Center or to the Falls Center from campus should contact Safety and Security at 215-951-2017 to arrange a Ram Van pick up.
