U.S. News and World Report: Important for commuter students to be involved, Horowitz says

Heather Horowitz, assistant director of student activities, said commuter students can stay connected to campus life by participating in organizations and activities, according to an Aug. 22 U.S. News and World Report story, “5 Ways Commuter Students Can Make Campus Feel Like Home.”  PhilaU assigns upper-class mentors as a resource for  commuter students.  “We want them to know that just because they don’t live on campus, they’re not going to go by the wayside,” Horowitz said.
