UPS Executive Rosemary Turner to Speak in MBA Leadership Luncheon Series, Thursday, Dec. 1

Rosemary Turner will speak to Philau MBA students in the MBA Leadership Luncheon Series on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Rosemary Turner, president of UPS small package operations in the Chesapeake District, will speak to MBA students as part of the fall 2011 MBA Leadership Luncheon Series on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 12:15 p.m. in The Tuttleman Center.

In her role at UPS, Turner provides the vision and long- and short-term strategies for the small package operations in the northeast. Previously, Turner served as the president of small package operations in Omaha, Neb., and southern California, and she has more than 30 years of experience as a leader in the transportation industry.

Outside of her professional duties, Turner also serves as the board chair for the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and is an executive board member for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and Urban League of Philadelphia. She has been active in promoting business growth in Philadelphia, and serves as a member of the Mayor’s Private Sector Task Force of Philadelphia.

Turner will speak about the lessons she has learned through her experiences in business and community service.

The MBA Leadership Luncheon program brings successful business executives to campus to share their insights with students. Lunch will be for all attendants. All MBA students are invited to attend.
