Gotz Unger, director of industrial design, on innovations of Knoll: The Philadelphia Inquirer

Gotz Unger, industrial design program director, discussed how the furniture firm Knoll Inc. transformed the work place just after World War II,  according to a Dec. 4 Philadelphia Inquirer story.  Florence Knoll pioneered ideas for integrating office design, furniture, function, lighting and fabric, Unger explained.  An exhibit on Knoll and some of the firm’s iconic modern office furniture is on display at the Paul J. Gutman Library through Dec. 15.
