Alexis Montecalvo ’12 Named Outstanding Senior Accounting Student

Alexis Montecalvo ’12, a recent graduate of the fashion merchandising and accounting programs at Philadelphia University, was named an outstanding senior by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Montecalvo was chosen as one of 80 students in the state to receive the award, which honors Pennsylvania’s highest achieving accounting students. Montecalvo was nominated for the award by Raymond Poteau, professor of accounting at PhilaU. As a recipient of the award, Montecalvo will receive a certificate, a medal and a one-year membership to PICPA.
