Recently graduated graphic design communication student Samantha Mola ’12 continues the recent streak of awards for the class of 2012. She was recognized as a semifinalist for her outstanding work by the prestigious 2012 Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
Mola received honors in the Adobe-sponsored highly competitive international student design competition in the Print Communication category. She was awarded for two projects: “Blueprint for a Greener Life,” her solution to the industry-sponsored EnergyWorks project, and “Don’t Do It,” her public awareness campaign against animal cruelty in the food processing industry.
Both of Mola’s projects were produced in her Design VII: Systems Design Integration course at PhilaU under the instruction of Frank Baseman, program director and associate professor. The Adobe Design Achievement Award is the most prestigious student design competition in the world for students working in graphic design, digital/interactive design, animation, illustration, package design and photography.
