Architecture Student Awarded Carpenters’ Company Scholarship

Muzalier Gaussaint, a fourth-year architecture student, has been awarded a $5,000 scholarship from The Carpenters’ Company of the City and Council of Philadelphia.
He will be honored by the organization at an awards gala Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Comcast Center in Philadelphia.

“Muzalier is among the leaders of our architecture student body and we are glad his accomplishments and potential have been recognized by The Carpenters’ Company through its highly competitive scholarship program,” said David Breiner, architecture program director.

Comprised  of prominent architects, building contractors and structural engineers, The Carpenters’ Company of the City and Council of Philadelphia aims to provide encouragement, education and support for young men and women entering the construction industry.

Students in architecture, structural engineering and construction management can apply for the annual award.  Eligible applicants must have a grade point average of at least 3.3 and demonstrate strong community involvement.
