President Spinelli on the value of a university education: The Philadelphia Inquirer

President Spinelli discussed the value of a higher education and said students and families should avail themselves of all the information available to make good choices about what schools to attend, he wrote in a commentary in the Aug. 27 Philadelphia Inquirer.  In light of President Obama’s new proposals to curb college costs by instituting a cost and value ranking system, Spinelli said colleges must manage their budgets responsibly but said college is an investment in a professional future that pays off for most graduates.
