Philadelphia University will officially dedicate the Arlen Specter Center for Public Service and its newly renovated home, the historic Roxboro House, on Sept. 11, WHYY Newsworks reported Aug. 26. “In the history of Philadelphia University, this is a very unique gem,” President Spinelli said. “This will be a living breathing center and, in four years, a research tool,” said Evan Laine, faculty director of the Specter Center, which is focused on academics and research relating to its mission.  The archives donated by the late Sen. Specter will be widely available when fully digitized.
