College of Architecture and Built Environment Students Publish “SPACEWORK”

A team of students in the College of Architecture and the Built Environment have produced the second issue of “SPACEWORK,” a design journal featuring student work.

Intended to initiate conversations about design and celebrate studio culture at Philadelphia University, the student-initiated and -produced publication highlights more than 75 projects from the 2014-2015 school year completed by students from a variety of majors and years.

The collection highlighting impressive work represents the high quality of education students receive at PhilaU’s dynamic College of Architecture and the Built Environment, where academic programs focus on collaborative learning, sustainability and design innovation.

“We included a variety of images showing everything from initial concept sketches and models to documentation drawings and final renderings,” said Jessie Nonnenman, a student editor of the publication.

In addition to showcasing some of the year’s best student work in architecture and the built environment, the journal also includes interviews with faculty, alumni, industry professionals and student organizations.
