Fashion Alumna Amanda Stearns Designs Eco-Friendly Knits: The Philadelphia Inquirer

Amanda Stearns, a 2014 fashion design alumna, is working on an eco-friendly line of knitwear during her participation in Macy’s Fashion Incubator program, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Oct. 7. Her mostly hand-knitted collection for women uses chemical-free natural fibers and she hopes to start a vegan knitwear in the future.

“I want people to love my clothing not only because of the shape and style, but because it isn’t impacting their health or the environment,” she explained. Visit her website here.
