The Urban Land Institute (ULI) Philadelphia has named construction management senior Oji Bratcher an Etkin Johnson Student Scholar.
The program immerses its participants in the land use industry in Philadelphia. During this academic year, Bratcher and the other awardees will attend ULI Philadelphia events, volunteer, meet with a mentor and network with ULI members—including developers, architects, bankers, brokers, construction managers, planners and public officials—to enhance their scholastic endeavors.
Bratcher interned in the construction and facilities department at West Chester University for the past two summers.
His areas of interest include issues surrounding the lack of affordable housing and deteriorating conditions of urban school facilities and real estate development.
