Jefferson Giving Day Celebrates Generosity of University Community

In a new 24-hour fundraising event, Jefferson Giving Day on Thursday, April 4 will celebrate the generosity and philanthropic impact of the Jefferson community.

“Every gift makes Jefferson a university of opportunity for students,” said Julia Gelman Barr, director of employee giving in the Office of Institutional Advancement. “Your support provides the ongoing resources crucial to its growth and success as a world-class institution. This is an opportunity for all alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends to have a collective impact on academics, scholarship and service to others—all of which make Jefferson great.”

In support of Jefferson Giving Day, each campus will host a series of events, including complimentary food, prize drawings, music, giveaways and more:

  • 12-2 a.m.: Gibbon Atrium
  • 7-10 a.m.: Curtis Center Lobby
  • 9 a.m.-9 p.m.: Gibbon Atrium
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Lubert Plaza
  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: 925 Chestnut St.
  • 12-2 p.m.: Jefferson Methodist Hospital
  • 12-2 p.m.: Kanbar Campus Center
